I would say the biggest “perk’ has been the experiences. I’m NOT a critic. I’m NOT a journalist. I’m a fan of television that developed a blog so I would have a place to share my thoughts on TV with other TV lovers. I never set out for GMMR to be anything other than that. So anything that has developed has been gravy.
I love TV so being invited to hang out on the set of my favorite shows, meet up with my favorite TV stars…it’s all been fantastic.
As for my favorite “perk” - hard to choose one. Can’t even choose my top moment. But in no order here are a few that would make my top 10…
(1) JJ Abrams introducing me to Josh Jackson
(2) Dancing the night away with my favorite SYTYCDancers
(3) Any and EVERY time I’ve been in the presence of John Krasinski
(4) Sitting in on Starkid rehearsals in Chicago/Watching the Boston SPACE Tour from backstage
(5) Meeting Joss Whedon while hanging with the GLEE kids at a Fox party (surreal)
One perk I’m still waiting for…meeting Neil Patrick Harris! Damn you, Doogie!
