The vocals…ouch. I’m not sure if it’s in the wrong key or what, but both guys are really struggling on this one. Cory more so than Darren, but ouch.
That being said, it’s a duet with a guitar accompaniment. What’s the over/under on Darren actually being able to play guitar on the show?! PLEASE!
Cory gets to play drums all the time (despite DC being an equally amazing drummer). Let Blaine at least strum a guitar!

Yet Darren plays piano, drums, guitar, violin and more and the only thing we’ve seen him play is a few bars on the harmonica (assuming that was him).

Exactly. I’m all for self expression but I so often question the taste of the GLEE costumer designers.
I get that Blaine was used to wearing a uniform, but the tight, short-sleeved polo with a bowtie was getting tired. I know it will be back, but I appreciate how fantastic he looks in a simple outfit.
The most astonishing thing about this picture is that Blaine is wearing normal clothes.

Before we get started…does anyone know if Tyler Oakley survived this episode. Can someone check on him and get back to me. I’m worried about him.
It’s been 7 long weeks since we last saw our beloved McKinley High songsters. So many questions were left unanswered. So many lives left in the balance.
Did Finchel go ahead with their wedding?
Did Quinn survive that horrible car crash?
Well one thing we know for sure – no one associated with GLEE can even begin to keep a secret. Cliffhangers don’t really work when you release photos of a ‘possibly dead character’ back on set, or when you release promos with the engaged twosome talking about their future wedding plans. Oh GLEE.
Important Note: Before we get into some of the highlights and not of this episode, let’s get this out of the way – this episode was set up as a slam dunk for my love and affection. You’ve got an episode premise built solidly around the back story of Blaine Anderson. If that wasn’t enough you bring one of my personal TV faves, Matt Bomer, in to guest as Darren Criss’ brother. It’s almost as if Ryan Murphy & Co walked into one of my dreams and said “great ideas, Kath. We’ll make this episode just for you, my dear”. And yeah, I know, there are a lot of Blaine haters out there. And that’s ok. You have that right, but just know that you’re not going to necessarily find this blog post a support group. I’m a fan – no different than any of you and I have my bias. And tonight my bias is the Anderbros.

In over a year of dating Blaine never mentioned that his brother was in a commercial that Kurt liked so much that the jingle was his ringtone? There aren’t any pics of Cooper around the Anderson home?
For what it’s worth, I have no problem with Darren Criss rapping. But I’m fine if I never have to see Blaine Anderson do it every again.

Honestly I’m just excited to learn more about Blaine’s back story. What’s the deal with his family? I know he mentioned not having the best relationship with his Dad in the past, but how has that played out over the past year or so?
The Anderson family intrigues me. What kind of parents let their son transfer out of a great school, where he is happy, during his junior year of high school only to be closer to his boyfriend? Maybe his parents just aren’t that involved.
I’m hoping Cooper is just an all around supportive big brother. And if Kurt has a little thing for the elder Anderson…well, I couldn’t blame him. It’s The Bomer!
